Everyone has different needs when it comes to funeral planning, so we make sure the plans we offer are as flexible as possible. When you get in touch, we’ll be happy to discuss your funeral requirements and tailor a plan to suit you.
Rest assured a pre-paid funeral plan from Ecclesiastical Planning Services is available to all UK residents and there are no complicated medical forms to complete. You can also appoint a nominated representative who we will keep informed about your plan, according to your instructions. Our plans cover our costs (as specified in the plan paperwork), as long as we carry out the funeral and your requirements don’t change. You can also make a contribution towards third party costs, such as the cremation fees. These costs are outside of our control.
How your funds are held?
All funeral plan pre-payments are held in an individual whole of life assurance policy for your peace of mind.

Flexible payment options
You can choose to pay for your funeral plan by lump sum or in instalments. There is an additional cost for paying over two or more years and eligibility criteria applies. Please refer to the Instalment Q&A and the Terms and Conditions for more information. Your funeral director will be able to provide you with a personalised quote.

Once your funeral plan is in place, you’ll receive a welcome booklet containing the details of your plan and your funeral plan certificate. Your nominated representative will also receive a copy if you request this.
As your funeral director, we’ll hold full details of your funeral plan. When the time comes, one phone call is all it takes to activate your plan and get the arrangements underway.

Step 1
We will meet with you to discuss your wishes and fill in the plan forms together.
Step 2
We send the forms to Ecclesiastical Planning Services Ltd, together with your payment.
Step 3
Your plan is processed, & Ecclesiastical Planning Services write to both of us confirming the plan is active, all of the details, and you also receive a plan certificate.
Step 4
We advise you make sure that your family and executors are aware of the plan and you provide them a copy to go with your will if you have one.

Fair pricing statement
Fees: the retail price of your funeral plan is representative of the equivalent cost of a funeral today plus an arrangement fee of £325 which is retained by Ecclesiastical Planning Services to help cover the costs of setting up your plan.
You can pay for your plan in full upfront or we can offer a payment plan to spread the cost. Payment plans are subject to status. Payment periods over 12 months will incur instalment fees.
